There are several utilities on the market for pbx managment, that allow users to manage all kind of tasks in Asterisk.

This utilities are focused to give users more flexibility, and allow them to do most common tasks. Nevertheless, many times, it's a dangerous tool, because not experimented users can do complex and dangerous tasks which can affect company working.

This interfaces also limit very much system's operatibility, because they use system macros very difficult to read and adapt, reducing final power and flexibility of the platform.

With the goal to avoid this complications, WOP Admin (Web Operator Panel Administrator) has been developed. This tool allow to do every environment basic tasks, so every user can add or remove extensions, or even modifiy them, but avoiding access to more complex operations, which we consider should be done by a system administrator.
